In 1981 Vladimir Zoroastrov graduated from Moscow Theater Art and Technical School with a degree in sound and lighting. His painting experience started with copying the works of French impressionists in 1998. Since 2000, Vladimir is a parishioner and permanent dweller at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Mikhailovskaya Sloboda near Moscow. In 2006, he discovered the tempera technique. Now he devotes himself to describing the life of the church and the Mikhailovskaya Sloboda settlement. He depicts only what he has seen himself, and only real people.
So far he has developed his original painting technique - it is a tempera applied to the canvas with old napless brushes (the technique creates a pencil effect). Member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists and the International Federation of Artists. The artist lives and works in Moscow.
