Mizinov Vladimir F. is a native of Nizhny Novgorod where he lives now. From his youth he was forced to work, since 1963, he worked in Krasnoye Sormovo, then served in the Navy. He was a real athlete. He worked as a construction worker. In 1978, as a result of an accident at a construction site, he became disabled. He has been painting since 1988. His favorite subjects are genre scenes with a fuzzy action as well as animals. Both portraits of people, and images of animals made by Mizinov are distinguished by their vivid character and are sometimes ironic.
The main expressive means in Mizinov’s works is colour, which is really dense, saturated, sometimes heavy, sometimes there is a black background in black-and-white still-lifes.
