In 1971, Viktor Timofeev got a job of scene worker in the Kazan Bolshoi Drama Theater named after V.I. Kachalova, then first began to draw. He worked in the theaters of Kazan, Smolensk and Pskov. In 1982 – 1986 he studied at the artistic and props department of the Kazan Theater School. Since 1987 he has been a free artist. With the technique of painting he works on fiberboard. Since 1982, he participates in exhibitions of professional artists in the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia. Since 1997 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Tatarstan Republic.
