Pasha Tobolyak

Pasha Tobolyak (1965/the village of Shuga, Nadym district - ☦ 2004) - the artist of naive art.

Tobolyak Pasha – а Nenets painter, sculptor, poet. He was educated at a boarding school in Tobolsk. In 1980 he made the bust of Pushkin, which is now exhibited in the Tobolsk Museum. He graduated from the Sverdlovsk vocational school. At the Tobolsk bone carving factory, he learned how to bone carving. In Nadym, he worked as a graphic designer, and was a head of a circle of modeling and drawing in the House of Pioneers, and drew himself. This time is also considered as the beginning of his literary activity.

He was published in the periodical press of the region, in the weekly “Literary Russia”, in the collection “On the Green Hill”, in the almanac “Window to the North” - in 1992, 1997, 2002.
From 1987 to 1993 was a chairman of the village council in the village of Nori.
