Velichko Neonila K. was born in the village of Bolshoy Troitskoe, Belgorod Region. She was a financier of the Belgorod City Government and inspected state institutions. At the end of World War II, she married and moved to Abkhazia, where she worked as an accountant. She started drawing on becoming a pensioner. In 1991, during the war with Georgia, the militants stole all the paintings of the artist. For some time Neonilla stayed in a ruined house, but then went to Moscow with her daughter and granddaughter. She was selling pictures near the subway.
