Kogut Maksim B. was born in Moscow, he graduated from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov majoring in clinical psychology. He worked in a psychiatric hospital and taught psychology at Moscow State Social University. Communicating closely with patients, he discovered that when a person finds it difficult to express his problem in words, art may help. Maksim Kogut attended lectures at the Institute of Philosophy, RSSU, Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry. Studying philosophy, literature and art helped him feel the fullness of existence.
He was actively engaged in music of different genres, mastered playing the piano, read all the available musical literature. The music served as a strong impulse for his creativity. He worked as a pianist. His first experience in visual art was associated with solid works and sculpture. The master works in the papier-mache technique, wood-carving, invents new technological compositions for his works.
