Blinov German V. was born in the village of Semukhino, the Yaroslavl region. In the 1970s he worked in art studios, and since the 1970s, he has been participating in exhibitions. He has changed several professions. In 1977, having settled to work as a watchman for one of Leningrad enterprises, he set a goal to master artistic literacy in his free time. Upon returning to Yaroslavl, he went to work as an artist-designer for a tobacco factory, then worked as a janitor. In his works, features of naivety are combined with elements of semi-professionalism coming from his experience of design work. K.B.
