Even as a child, Aleksandra moved with her family to live in the city of Serpukhov. In 1939 she entered a medical school, but did not manage to finish it, since in 1942 she volunteered for the front. She served in the 36th Red Banner Communications Regiment (on the 3rd Belorussian Front) as a courier and signalman. In 1944, it was in the 157th separate communications battalion (1st Belorussian Front). The war ended in Poland. From 1953, she worked at a bakery as a freight forwarder, then taught housekeeping at schools in the city of Vorkuta. Returning to Serpukhov in 1964, she worked as a boiler room operator until she retired.
She had no special art education. She started painting when she was about 70 years old. He is the author of illustrations to fairy tales, including his own composition. It was published in several Serpukhov children’s magazines.
